Food is really good and the prices aren’t bad. Tried the pulled pork, smoked sausage, ribs, and smoked chicken. Everything was great. The owner is a really personable guy.

Stopped by today to pick up some ribs along with baked beans and chicken. Received a taste of Mac and cheese with pulled pork that was FANTASTIC! The Mac and cheese had a nice subtle smokiness and the pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Had the ribs later on in the day and couldn't believe the char, tenderness and flavor. First time visit but won't be the last. Highly recommend for excellent bbq and a very welcoming atmosphere.

We ordered a Pulled Pork dinner and a 1/2 Chicken dinner, 2 sides included. The portions were huge, like 2 meals huge. The smoke flavor was on point. Like nothing in our area. A must stop on way through , bring your appetite!

We got a half a chicken and we got pulled pork. We also got macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad! Everything was homemade and everything was great! He also gave us a hefty amount as well as comfortable as well as our two drinks free. He is a very nice man! Very recommended!

Having a fun road trip day with my friend and we found this treasure!! We stopped by Gordo Mike’s bbq looking for a place to grab something to eat and keep going but we were surprise about the quality and taste of this place!! We had the special ribs, pulled pork and Italian sausage, the pulled pork is out of this world! It also came with two sides, I usually don’t like Mac and cheese but this one are amazing, not sure how he makes it or what kind of cheese. We end buying a bunch of his special sauce, he explained us how he makes it, everything looks natural, we will order some in the future I’m sure about that. If you have the chance while you are around make a stop here you won’t regret it!

So freaking good! We finally got the chance to pop in for lunch today and I have to say, tastes as good as it smells. Mike is a delight and working so hard to incorporate as many local ingredients as possible in the food and decor. The chicken is so juicy and smokey you don’t want or need sauce. The pulled pork is also a winner, some of the best we’ve had in years. The potato salad, bbq beans and Mac and cheese (with bits of the smoked chicken in it today!) were all fantastic. Can’t wait to bring all our friends when they come to visit! An absolute must try.
